Review of the bookmaker Mcheza from Legalbet

Mcheza is a fact growing online betting platform in Kenya. Considering the number of users patronizing the platform, it is not too optimistic to predict that in no distant time, it would be one of the strong forces in the online betting space in Kenya. It is also important to add that they are committed to assuring its users a pleasurable betting experience. With the consistent updates they make from time to time, it is safe to say they are headed in the right direction.

Odds — normal

We calculated the margin for Mcheza by analysing the odds they offer. We further ranked them in one of the following three categories:

From 1% to 5%: Good value

Over 5% to 7%: Average value

Over 7% to 10%: Poor value

Football

We’re getting our results by taking into account the odds for final result outcomes measured in line with the total goals scored for different football leagues. By getting the average results using this method, we were able to obtain the margins for each league and also the overall betting margin for the bookmaker.

Mcheza has an overall margin of 7.97% for football and falls in the average value category. In the first section using odds from the English Premier League, the margin is at 6.15%. The second section with Spanish La Liga and Italian Serie A, has a margin of 6.36%. Finally, by counting the English Football League One, Austrian Bundesliga and Polish Ekstraklasa, the margin is at 11.40%.

Betting options — normal

Range of Sports: While it could be argued that the sports selection isn't as robust compared to other bookies, they still boast an impressive selection of sports on its menu.

As at the time of this review, there were over 17 games enlisted on the sports menu. Some of the events on their sportsbook inlcude the popular sports like football, basketball, volleyball and tennis just to mention a few. There is also provision for other not-so-popular sports like biathlon, hurling and a host of others.

It is also exciting that chess has been included in the sports menu considering how much attention the game has gathered from a betting perspective over recent years. If you are a chessmaster or perhaps have some interest in the board game, Mcheza could be of interest to you.

Virtual lovers are not left out either. The platform delivers some interesting virtual games that would get any lover of this kind of betting excited. Their casino section is also well packed with well over 50+ different games as at the time this review was done.

Also, for those that are not so familiar or not interested in sports, there is provision for other events like politics to be wagered on.

The user interface is embellished with black and dark gold colour themes. Because of the colours chosen, it can be a struggle to get the picture from the first look, and that could affect the user’s betting experience in the long run.

Range of Bets and Markets: Having consistent and return users on a betting platform is not only dependent on the selection of sports available but also the variety of betting options provided. The top betting companies understand this and they do everything possible to make sure they don't fall short in that regard.

Mcheza, likewise, leaves no stone in that regard as their platforms offer a wide array of betting options across the numerous sports available.

The impressive thing about this is that the concentration of betting options is not limited to certain sports alone. Almost all sports enlisted on the platform have an extensive number of markets to satisfy the diverse punters using the platform.

As at the time of this review, football alone has over 200 betting markets for most football events offered on the site.

As opposed to the popular options like the "double chance" and "straight win," the platform also offers the punters some interesting options like "Left footed goal, " "right footed goal” and more. Some of these options are rare to find anywhere else.

Betting limits: The money that you can place on a bet should be enough. Although, like you’d expect from a bookmaker nowadays, the limits are getting chopped when it comes to betting on lower leagues, but that’s the case on the whole industry.

Live — normal

Live betting is a feature that is widely gaining grounds amongst bettors and fast becoming a favorite feature of them. It gives punters the opportunity to wager on live events as opposed to pre-matches. In this case, punters are guided by the information they have about the live statistics to make better betting decision.

It is impressive how Mcheza have other sports available also for live betting asides football. They have about six other sports available to choose from. We are talking about live games in sports like tennis, table tennis, basketball, volleyball to mention but a few.

When it comes to the number of markets offered on each live game, Mcheza needs to do better by adding more of them. For example, their live football events barely get up to 50 markets and that's far below par compared to the average from other bookmakers.

It is also rather underwhelming that the bookie has no functional live streaming feature as at the time of this review. This is another feature that has widely become popular amongst other bookies.

Overall, the bookie offers a fairly good live section that's easy to navigate.
